HOW TO GET THERE

Visitors have the opportunity to visit the island while traveling by plane or ship.
The flight from the airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" to Agio Kurika takes 30 minutes.
From Ikaria Airport, operate flights to Crete (Heraklion) with "Sky Express".
There are regular ferry services from Piraeus to Ikaria, which increase during the summer.
The island is connected by ferry to the port of Piraeus on a daily basis with the port of evdilos and the port of Agio Kiriko.
All ship trips are scheduled by Hellenic Seaways.

BEACHES

Ikaria has exceptionally beautiful beaches to visit during your stay on the island.
The most exceptional beaches are:  Livadi, Messachti, Na and Seychelles.
The beaches are mainly sandy and many of them are easy to access.
Livadi is a large sandy beach with blue waters and you must definitely visit the beach Messachtis.
The beach Seychelles is a small beach with green water and pebbles.
If you decide to visit be prepared to walk down a path since there is no accessible road that reaches the beach.
