TRANSPORTATION
It is generally fairly large island, but not developed to its full extent. So in the city not need transport, distances are small and very easy to walk. If you want to explore the island, you definitely need a car.
MONUMENTS
You will find several beautiful listed buildings, but the hallmark of the island is the Castle. It is very well preserved and open to the public. Visit and the view will be rewarding.
MUSEUMS
There are several museums to visit on the island. The most important is the Archaeological Museum of Mytilene, the Museum of Folk Art and the Museum of Modern Art.
