KLM is the flag carrier of Holland. It’s the oldest airline company in the world (it was created in 1919) and it still flies by the same name.
The fleet consists of 159 aircrafts and there are another 20 on order. It mainly uses Boeing aircrafts. Its subsidiary, KLM Cityhopper, has aircraft manufactured by the Dutch Fokker and the Brazilian Embraer.
The company’s base is Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport and conducts flights to 90 destinations all over the world.
The company is a part of Sky Team airline alliance. In 2004 it was merged with Air France, forming the largest airline in the world in terms of income.
